Qian Boyu started learning piano at the age of 4. He graduated from the Central Conservatory of Music with a bachelor’s degree and studied under the famous violinist Professor Zhang Ti and Associate Professor Gao Can.
In the summer of 2015, he went to the Paris National Conservatory of Music in France to study with the famous master Pierre. Later, he went to the Cincinnati Conservatory of Music in the United States to obtain a master’s and doctoral degree, studying under the famous violin educator Professor Kurt Sussmanshaus.
She was once commissioned by the Central Conservatory of Music to participate in the “High-level Consultant to Small Students Program” launched by the Ministry of Culture and teach at Beijing Fendou Primary School. In 2020, she was invited by the Central Conservatory of Music’s “Yayin Online” App to serve as the main lecturer of a series of 10 live courses on “Consolidating the initial foundation of violin and advancing intermediate technology”.
Qian’s students were admitted to the junior high school affiliated to the Central Conservatory of Music, the affiliated high school of Xinghai Conservatory of Music, the preparatory class and professional orchestra of the Royal Conservatory of Music in Canada, etc. with excellent results. He also recommended students to participate in various international competitions: won the second place in the second Fiorito Music Festival in the United States; won the first prize in the Fujian and Beijing divisions of the Hong Kong International Open; won the gold medal in the “Golden Beijing” violin competition; won the first prize in the Beijing division of the Qingdao International Violin Concerto Competition, etc.
Qian Boyu has now joined Manlindes to teach violin.
