Jiang Longsheng

Co-Principal & Head of Piano

Jiang Longsheng was born in Fujian, China. He began his musical education at the Fujian Vocational College of Art under the tutelage of Huang Lu. He was later admitted to the piano program at the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA) in Singapore, where he received a scholarship from the Ministry of Education, Singapore. At NAFA, he studied under Piano Department Head Rena Phua and pianist Lim Yan. In 2017, he was admitted to the Royal College of Music in London with the highest entrance grade in his specialization and earned a Bachelor of Music with Honours. He studied under Yu Chun Yee, former Vice President of NAFA and Professor at the Royal college of Music. 




Since 2017, Mr. Jiang has performed numerous solo and concerto concerts at Fujian Huaqiao Middle School and the Fujian Vocational College of Art. He later presented a series of “Tea Time Concert” solo piano performances in Singapore. In addition, he has collaborated as a pianist in special accompaniment concerts for organizations such as the Singapore Musicians Association and the Choral Association. He has also served as an accompanist for multiple gold medallists of the Singapore National Chinese Music Competition. Mr. Jiang has participated in international piano competitions and music festivals across Beijing, Shanghai, Xiamen, Singapore, South Korea, Spain, and London. 




As a piano educator, he has engaged in professional exchanges with professors from the Shanghai Conservatory of Music, Tchaikovsky Conservatory, Eastman School of Music, and many others. He has conducted public masterclasses and served as a judge in piano competitions in both Fujian and Singapore. To date, Mr. Jiang has taught more than 180 piano students in Singapore, spanning across all levels. His students have competed in the Singapore National Piano and Violin Competition, Nanyang Music Festival, Golden Lion Cup, and the Steinway Youth Piano Competition, with many receiving gold medals. He has also guided numerous students into Music Elective Programme (MEP) schools, including Raffles Institution and Dunman Secondary School.
